A woman with 42 points on her expired provisional driving licence has been arrested after stealing her mum's Mercedes and then trying to fool police.
Police said the woman had an 'expired provisional with 42 points' and was 'not covered by any insurance'. She had stolen the car from her mother without permission.The woman was arrested and remains in custody for questioning. The vehicle was seized by police.
