Inspired by English creatives, the Bloomsbury group, - Stine Goya’s SS22 collection was a wild mix of pattern, colour, texture and collective creativity. 🎨 But, does the brand still have room to grow when it comes to inclusivity? CPHFW
By combining poetry, dance, video and the art of tailoring, Stine Goya’s SS22 collection is a love letter to the world’s creative communities, inspired by the Bloomsbury group – a group of English intellectuals, artists and writers from the early 20th Century.in 24 hours, using a live audience via a digital platform. For the film, Stine Goya collaborated with Danish writing collective Blod Måne Søndag, who created the poem ‘Blue Hour Purple’ and also performed at the show.
The interior of Charleston House , home of Bloomsbury group, was a huge inspiration for the prints in the collection, and is visible in the elegant lavender, airy blues and chunky red patterns that flowed across the pieces. As a reflection on one’s personal growth, and the endless creative possibilities that may come from a group of like-minded people working together, the collection showed a unity of ideas and personalities, but stayed true to Goya’s DNA with individualism as its’ heart.
