Merseyside has enjoyed sunny weather across the weekend
The mini heatwave comes after a washout August, with many people and families making the most of today's glorious sunshine in Liverpool city centre. And, according to the Met Office, the hot conditions we've enjoyed over the last couple of days are set to continue.
It has forecasted that temperatures will hit highs of 26°C tomorrow , although it will actually feel like 27°C. Brilliant sunshine is expected to last throughout the day, and it's a similar story for the rest of the week, with temperatures predicted to remain well into the 20s until next weekend.The Met Office’s website states: “Overnight low cloud and fog patches soon breaking to leave another dry day with plenty of warm or very warm sunshine, and light winds.
Sunny weather is set to continue on Tuesday, with highs of 25°C. Cloudier conditions are predicted on Wednesday, with highs of 24°C rainfall potentially returning in the evening. The outlook for Tuesday and Wednesday states: “Some low cloud and fog in the mornings, otherwise sunny periods and feeling very warm, with mild nights. Turning breezy for a time. A chance of showers from Wednesday night.”
However, there will be less time to enjoy the warm weather, with sunset due to get earlier and earlier this month. By September 26, the sun will go down at around 7pm.
