Police are asking for help in finding the attackers
A Good Samaritan was seriously injured as he tried to stop masked intruders who had attacked a woman in her home in Blackpool.
As the raiders fled, a member of the public tried to stop them but ended up hanging out of the getaway vehicle, believed to be a SUV type car. He then fell into a parked car and suffered serious injuries. As part of our ongoing enquiries, a 47-year-old woman from Blackpool was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. She has since been released on conditional bail.Officers are asking for any witnesses or anyone with mobile phone, dashcam or CCTV footage which covers Annan Crescent and surrounding areas and has captured anything suspicious between 6pm and 7pm on Tuesday to make contact with us.
