Davina McCall has joined the cast for the Doctor Who Christmas Special alongside Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson.
Davina McCall is set to guest star on the Doctor Who Christmas Special this year and gets killed off in a bizarre manner.
Davina is reportedly set to welcome Ruby on the show as she hunts down her birth parents, but she gets killed off in an unusually festive way. The Big Brother host will meet her demise on the show and be killed by a Christmas tree. Earlier this year, script editor Scott Handcock said “a guest star from 2005” would return for the special prompting many fans to speculate Simon Pegg could return. Simon previously starred as The Editor in episode The Long Game while Davina provided the voice of the Davinadroid in an episode called Bad Wolf in 2005.
The iconic show will celebrate its 60th Anniversary in November with a trio of specials, and both David Tennant and Catherine Tate will be returning for the special episodes. The new season of Doctor Who, starring Ncuti and Millie, is set to air on the BBC in Spring 2024.
