Glasgow was revealed today to be a better destination to visit than New York, London, Madrid and many more world class cities for holiday goers.
However, Glasgow was voted the friendliest city with the Index praising its good humour, nightlife, excellent Michelin star quality food and our world class music scene. The article says that people should visit our city now because: "Glasgow was doing quality meat-free dining way before it was fashionable and natural wine bar and vegetarian/vegan restaurant Sylvan continues the trend.It further goes on to claim that 78 per cent of residents would describe the city as a friendly place seeing us leapfrog over last years winner, Manchester.
With more than 3,500 hectares of green space, we have some fantastic places to walk to and relax in when the sun makes the odd appearance.
