Tyson Fury opens up on horrific training camp for the third Deontay Wilder fight that saw him sleep on the hospital floor
Tyson Fury has now revealed the full extent of his disastrous training camp before the Deontay Wilder trilogy fight.which ruled he owed the Bronze Bomber another bout.Fury vs Wilder 3 was initially set for July and the Brit flew out to America to begin training.As a result, the bout was pushed back to“I’m in training camp for Wilder 3,” Fury recalled during a public speaking event recently. “All of a sudden, bang, the full team comes down with COVID in July.
“I didn’t really know how serious it was. I’m out training for Wilder 3, while I’m at Alder Hey Hospital sleeping on the floor.“I said, ‘Pricey, where are you, are you up for a run? I’m at Alder Hey.’Fury found support from his old foe Price “And [one day] I’m out running with my dad, I couldn’t run half a mile, I’d just had COVID, my chest was killing me, it was on fire, I could hardly breathe.“I’m trying to train for Wilder running round the hospital.“She said, ‘The baby’s died.’“I said, ‘It’s gonna be alright, don’t worry, let the doctors do their work.’“I thought to myself, ‘If this baby can pull through, then I’m gonna go to America and I’m gonna slaughter Deontay Wilder.
