Two Americans discovered dead inside luxury Mexican hotel room
The bodies of a man and a woman, both in their mid-30s, were found by paramedics and police around 9 p.m.,
First responders entered the hotel room located in the seaside community of El Pescadero after receiving reports that the Americans were unconscious, police said.The suspected causes of death were inhalation of gas, which has happened to other Americans in Mexico in recent years.The hotel is a luxury Hyatt property.Two Americans were discovered dead inside their luxury hotel room in Baja California on Tuesday night.More information on the victims was not available Wednesday night.
Last October, three Americans were found dead at a rented apartment in Mexico, apparently from gas inhalation. And in 2018, a gas leak in a water heater killed an American couple and their two children at a resort in Tulum.
