A man has been arrested
Police were called to the incident in the Bachelors Walk area of Lisburn at around 12.20pm on Friday, July 29, following reports that a member of staff had been assaulted on a train.
Translink has condemned the assault of a conductor which took place onboard the train near Lisburn Train Station earlier today. “We condemn all instances of anti-social behaviour and have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to anyone who physically or verbally threatens or abuses our staff. “We utterly condemn this incident, and we will use our onboard CCTV plus witness statements to bring the perpetrators to justice. A reward of up to £1,000 is available to anyone who gives evidence in court, leading to a successful conviction”.
