Friends consumed 'huge quantity of drugs' on holiday train to Blackpool before one was found dead in B&B
A chronic drug user took a cocktail of illegal substances on the train to Blackpool before being found dead in her bed the following day.
When the pair arrived in the seaside resort they headed straight to their hotel, the Jesmond in Banks Street, and went to bed. The following day Michelle was found dead in bed. An inquest at Blackpool Town Hall today heard that Michelle, 37, had a 'chronic addiction to drugs'. The medical cause of death was given as multi drug toxicity with a pathologist reporting that the amount of heroin found in Michelle's system was within the range encountered in fatalities.
"While on the train [her friend] states they had taken a large quantity of drugs, She cannot recall the amounts but said they took Xanax, pregabalin and methadone as well as smoking crack cocaine and heroin.
