Flights were grounded at both Dallas airports on Wednesday due to thunderstorms.
As of 4 p.m., there were 521 delays to and from DFW Airport and 142 flights were delayed at Love Field. Only five flights were canceled at DFW Airport and none were called off at Love Field., with temperatures expected to soar into the mid-90s to 100 degrees.
Weather is the most frequent cause of flight delays and cancellations. Through June 11, weather accounted for over 64% of all flight delay minutes, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.Email Address
