As part of Pride Month, honouring the LGBTQ+ community for all of June, people adorned their brightest colours and marched around the city streets together.
The march and festival marked the first in Glasgow in three years after the covid pandemic forced the cancellation of previous events in 2020 and 2021. The crowds set off from Glasgow Green at 12pm and marched through the city centre before heading to the Broomielaw at the River Clyde.People could be seen waving rainbow flags, wearing multi-coloured face paint, tiaras, floral garlands and carrying placards.
