Police are appleaing for information following the incident

A South Belfast supermarket was damaged in a racially motivated hate crime when a bin was placed against its shutters and set alight.

It was reported that a bin was placed against the shutters of the ship and set alight, causing damage to the shutters and shop sign.Police are treating the incident as a racially motivated hate crime and are asking for anyone with any information regarding it to contact them.
