Sir Rod Stewart has rejected one of the biggest pay cheques of his career by refusing to perform in Saudi Arabia due to their human rights abuses.
The singer’s team would not comment on exactly how much he was offered this time to perform but it’s understood the figure was “much higher.” Other stars have performed recently in Saudi Arabia, including Bruno Mars and rapper Iggy Azalea.
