Seven Lakes midfielder Aidan Morrison was named the Gatorade Texas Boys Soccer Player of the Year after leading the Spartans to a state championship.Gatorade Texas Boys Soccer Player of the YearMorrison was instrumental in helping the Spartans capture their first state championship this past season, scoring 16 goals and dishing out 20 assists during his junior year. Seven Lakes finished with a 28-1-1 record and won the Class 6A title in Georgetown with a 2-1 victory over Dripping Springs.
Morrison, a 6-foot-2 midfielder, helped Seven Lakes reach the state tournament in 2021 as well and has twice been named a first-team all-state selection by the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches. He was theMorrison has volunterred locally with a vacation Bible school and is a member of the Seven Lakes student athletic leadership team. He has also donated his time as a tutor for students with special needs and has a 3.73 grade-point average.
