See inside the Chartwell Estate, 1 of the most expensive listings in the U.S. with an asking price of $195 million
When this property went on the market about a year ago no interior photos were released so we all had to use our imaginations about what it looked like inside what was then the most expensive listing in the U.S. with an asking price of $245 million. Halfway through the year the property came down in price to $195 million, but it was still keeping secrets about its interiors.
After all the teasing, a video tour of the inside has finally been released. Watch below to see some of the architecturally significant features, such as the wood flooring that dates to the 18th century and took the craftsmen three months to install. Or the wall panels in the 24-person dining room that also date to the 18th century and were commissioned for the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
