Officers traced MacLeod after linking him to a Virgin Media internet subscription and swooped on his Edinburgh flat.MacLeod, 35, appeared at the city’s sheriff court on Tuesday and pled guilty to possessing indecent images of youngsters. Fiscal depute Jennifer McLaren said MacLeod was at his home in the Niddrie area when police arrived at his door.The court heard 163 Category A - the worst level - were found to have been downloaded.
The prosecutor said there were also 163 Category B stills and another 1956 at Category C which had been downloaded.
