A scots couple took extreme measures when they were forced to flee their home after being attacked by their own dog
.
The latest episode saw crew members Kim and Scott first on the scene to the distress call. Afraid they could also be attacked, the ambulance crew awaited instructions from both the police and fire service while trying to stop the distressed man falling out of the window. The man's partner and the dog were elsewhere in the property.
The ambulance crews attention quickly turned to the partner inside the house when the man informed them that they were bleeding heavily from a bite . Finally paramedics are able to finally gain access through the window via a ladder when the fire services arrive. They find the patient is suffering from multiple 'significant' injuries and punctures to the skin.
