A Rolls-Royce driver was caught by police after testing positive for drugs in Manchester city centre.
The driver of the luxury Rolls-Royce Phantom car caught the attention of police in the city centre and checks on the expensive motor uncovered that there was no insurance in place. One of the passengers was found in possession of cannabis before the driver tested positive for the drug, according to a tweet from Greater Manchester Police.Rolls-Royce Phantoms can have a starting cost of more than £300,000 - but many sell for a far higher price tag.
Manchester City Centre Police tweeted just after 2am this morning , saying: "This Rolls-Royce Phantom came to the attention of #TransportUnit officers in Manchester City Centre. "Further checks showed that there was no insurance in place, one of the passengers was found in possession of cannabis and the driver also tested positive for cannabis."
