He was a repeat offender
A prolific shoplifter who stole from a number of stores in Nottingham has now been jailed. Mark Diuk has been sentenced after targeting shops in Beeston and Clifton.
On January 1, he stole laundry products from Heron Foods. He returned to the same store on January 6 where he stole jars of coffee, and then stole confectionery from the shop on January 12. He was jailed for 20 weeks when he appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on February 7 and was convicted of five counts of shop theft.
“He has repeatedly walked into shops and made no attempt to hide the fact he was grabbing items from shelves and leaving without paying.
