Molly Biglari's focus needs to be Ready to Work for the next 12 to 18 months, her predecessor says.
Molly Biglari, who worked as a vice president and chief operating officer at Haven for Hope, will take the reigns later this month from David Zammiello,Biglari’s entrance as Project QUEST’s next CEO comes at an inflection point in the workforce nonprofit’s 30-year history.Zammiello, retiring CEO of Project QUEST, urges patience for Ready to Work job training initiative
In December, Zammiello said he would emphasize to his successor that “the priority needs to be Ready to Work for the next 12 to 18 months.” Biglari will be tasked with ensuring QUEST hits its first-year goal for Ready to Work of enrolling 850 San Antonions into job training programs. As of Wednesday, the nonprofit said it had 357 participants in job training.
Biglari also recently served as interim president and CEO for Haven for Hope, which she joined in 2016 as director of strategic relations. Biglari was named a vice president and the first chief operating officer at the homeless services nonprofit in 2020.“I am honored for the opportunity to bring my passion for service and lessons learned over my 20 years of professional experience,” she said in a statement.
