Oakley man, 32, charged with first degree murder.
A man and woman have been arrested and charges filed in the fatal shooting of a man on the morning of March 2 in Oakley, police said.
Billy Bruce Cole, 32, of Oakley was charged with first degree murder, and Anastashia Wilfong, 27, of West Sacramento, with “accessory after the fact,” authorities said. Police were called to a house on the 1400 block of Carpenter Road in Oakley after Contra Costa County sheriff’s deputies arrived to serve an unrelated search warrant for illegal drugs and weapons. When they went into the home, they found a dead man, another one slightly wounded and a woman, who was not injured, according to officials.Beard said police were not involved in the shooting, but rather “it was just the collision or intersecting of two weird events.
