CASTRO VALLEY — One person was killed in a motorcycle crash in the East Bay hills on Saturday, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The fatal accident was reported at the intersection of Redwood Road and Marciel Road next to Chabot Regional Park in the East Bay hills near Castro Valley and Oakland, according to a CHP incident log and the state law enforcement agency’s Twitter page. The traffic crash involving a Suzuki GSXR motorcycle was reported to the CHP at about 4:43 p.m. Saturday.
