has announced a New Year’s Eve run of shows at Madison Square Garden in New York. The band will celebrate the 25th anniversary of its first performance at the iconic venue in 1994 with shows from Dec. 28-31.
The four-night run will mark the quartet’s 61st, 62nd, 63rd and 64th performances at Madison Square Garden over the past 25 years. Phish has played the Garden more than any other venue and performed 12 New Year’s Eve runs there in the past with this year marking the 13th year of the tradition. The New Year's Eve shows follow a short fall trek for the band, including Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, R.I. on Nov. 29 and 30, Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Dec. 1, Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh on Dec. 4 and three nights at North Charleston Coliseum in North Charleston, South Carolina, Dec. 6-8.
Prior to their last stop of the year, Phish will play Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, R.I., as well as shows in New York and Pennsylvania. The band also has a four-night stint including a double header at North Charleston Coliseum in North Charleston, S.C. from Dec. 6-8.
