Michelle went above and beyond to give her young daughter the bedroom of her dreams 😍
While the project did take a long time to complete, Michelle spent just £89 overall – sourcing pencils, paints and paintbrushes from Asda, B&Q and Amazon.
The childcare worker from Swindon said: ‘At first I didn’t know what to do. I wanted her bedroom to be fun and bright and to be something different so just made a Disney-themed room in my own way.‘The last time I did anything like this was for my oldest daughter 20 years ago – I did her room with a 101 Dalmatians theme.’Firstly, Michelle stripped the bedroom wall back, sealed any holes and painted it white.
‘I spent time looking at waterfalls, flowers and different trees, and then started to plan on A4 paper roughly what images I would like to draw on each wall,’ she adds. ‘It took me a year and a half to draw freehand and paint in between being furloughed, looking after a two-year-old and going back to work.’Some Winnie the Pooh characters
