For the first time since the school opened, Central Crossing will have a new baseball coach.
Scott Todd, who left after 19 seasons to become the athletics director at Grove CityGuerin had led the program at Madison Plains since 2019. His team was 13-16 in 2021 and 2-23 last spring.
Guerin, a lawyer with Farmers Insurance, was an assistant at Westland in 2018 and coached at the middle school level a combined five years in Johnstown and at Worthington McCord, a feeder school to Kilbourne. Todd went 223-260 in 19 seasons, but the program is on an upswing. The Comets were a combined 51-29 the last three seasons,
