Emergency services scrambled to the city centre this afternoon following reports of a 'disturbance' on Union Street.
Police raced to the scene at around 2.20pm on Thursday, September 14. A 29-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. The nature of his injuries are not yet known. The force is investigating the incident and have launched an appeal for witnesses.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.20pm on Thursday, 14 September, 2023, we were called to a report of a disturbance on Union Street, Glasgow.“Officers remain at the scene and enquiries are ongoing.
“Anyone with information is urged to contact 101 quoting reference 1962 of 14 September or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
