A man has been charged after 'threatening and abusive' behaviour was allegedly directed at police officers, who responded to the incident in the city centre on Thursday afternoon.
Multiple police officers and at least four vehicles were spotted on North Hanover Street earlier today . Police were called to the incident just before 3pm. A 32-year-old man allegedly directed threats and abuse towards officers. He has since been arrested and charged.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with threatening and abusive behaviour directed at police officers, following an incident on North Hanover Street, Glasgow, around 2.50pm on Thursday, 14 September, 2023.
