David McDaniel, 21, agreed to serve life in prison with parole eligibility in 50 years as part of guilty to plea to two counts of aggravated murder and two counts of aggravated robbery.

James Skernivitz and a police informant during a botched robbery.
Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Michael Shaughnessy set sentencing for April 13. While the plea agreement called for a recommended sentence, the hearing will allow family members of both Skernivitz and Dingess to address Shaughnessy. McDaniel, Kevin Robinson and a then-15-year-old boy who went to the area to buy a gun from a classmate saw the two men inside the car. Skernivitz had money out that he was going to give McDaniel for the drug buy.
