Police say he was apprehended after being spotted by an officer on Crawfordsburn Beach on Monday, July 18.
In a Facebook post, Police Ards & North Down said: "Our beach patrols aren’t just about sun tans and tickets."Public safety is our main priority, and substantial work takes place in the background to ensure those visiting our district have a safe and enjoyable stay.
