Why Loki Season 1's Deleted Scene May Be Mentioned In Season 2 The deleted scene featuring Hemsworth as Throg being released right before Loki season 2's October 6 premiere date makes it possible that the character will come back for season 2. Marvel fans were excited to see Throg back in Loki season 1, episode 5, only for the character to briefly appear with no lines.
Besides, having Throg appear even as a cameo is great for Loki season 2 in multiple ways. The new season of the show will feature a serious plot, as the TVA was reshaped in Kang the Conqueror's image at the end of season 1, and Loki season 2's trailer, as well as Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania's post-credits scene, have shown that Loki and Mobius will deal with another Kang variant, Victor Timely, in season 2.
Throg showing up in Loki season 2 would also be a fun way of having Hemsworth cameo.
