The album will drop on Sept. 20 on Warner Records and the video for 'Shockwave' is out now.
Gallagher actually confirmed the title last month when he tweeted out the phrase and a fan asked if it was the name of his new album and he replied simply, "indeed."A release announcing the album reveals that Gallagher wrote the songs with producers Greg Kurstin and Andrew Wyatt and tracked it in London and Los Angeles.
Gallagher released the apocalyptic video for in-your-face track "Shockwave" on Thursday morning . In the François Rousselet-directed clip he strolls away from a burning house in his trademark oversized parka, sips some tea and pugnaciously strolls through a 1960s-style street protest featuring marchers hoisting signs with the album title and the song's lyrics.
