The very obvious sexism of it all 🥴

for $67 million in back pay and damages. But on top of its claims regarding skill level, U.S. Soccer says in the motion that the case holds no weight because the men and women perform different jobs and have separate collective bargaining agreements that shouldn’t be compared with each other.

USWNT stars Carli Lloyd and Alex Morgan clapped back at some of these claims in December court depositions, according to. When asked whether they could contend against a men’s team, Lloyd said, “Shall we fight it out to see who wins and then we get paid more?” Meanwhile, Morgan described the skill set for women’s soccer as “different” than men’s.
