The Momoa family just gained another member: a motorcycle they built from scratch.just fulfilled a 30-year dream of his to build his own motorcycle, something he accomplished with the help of his family.
In celebration of Father's Day, the "Aquaman" star released a video chronicling his mission to rebuild an old Harley Davidson bike from the bottom up, with an assist from 11-year-old daughter Lola and son Nakoa-Wolf, 10.
"My babies got to see their father learning," he says in the video. "The joy on their faces reflected the memory, the memory of that little boy in the back of a bike tearing through the backyard with a smile so big, it shut his eyes. I felt it when it happed to me, and now I could see it on the faces of my children. It's that moment where the wild stomped in."
Acknowledging they "built something special" -- something he refers to as an "heirloom" -- Momoa is proud of this new piece of his family's history. "We're the Momoas, we're the knuckleheads," he says, "and with every ride, whether it's me, my daughter, my son or even a grandchild I don't know yet, they will share the miles and memories we're creating."
