A Saudi trial to bring justice to the killers of journalist Jamal Khashoggi has been shrouded in secrecy and moving at a slow pace
In a Riyadh courtroom, prosecutors have outlined evidence implicating a top lieutenant of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, according to Saudi officials not authorized to speak publicly.
But the aide, Saud al-Qahtani, isn’t among the 11 Saudis on trial for the murder last October and won’t face any charges, the officials said, despite pressure from the U.S.
