The former aide who leaked senators' addresses during Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation hearing was just sentenced to 4 years in prison
to four years in prison. Cosko’s sentence was handed down on the same day that another former aide was charged over her role in the same leak.Politico, “downloaded a massive trove of data from Senate systems” after breaking into Hassan’s office.
U.S. District Court Judge Thomas Hogan said the sentence for Jackson Cosko, 27, was needed to send a signal that criminal harassment driven by political motives would be punished severely in an era marked by extreme political polarization.
