A Glasgow woman was left paralysed and unable to speak after using a weight loss device known as a 'skinny pen'.
"I managed to send a voice note to a friend after I started to feel a bit better and he told me I should phone an ambulance because of how bad I sounded." She added: "I felt like there was more to what had happened to me so I started to look into it. I compared my pen with a friend's Saxenda and quickly noticed the difference.
She has since discovered her fake pen was actually administering Insulin, rather than Liraglutide, which is used in Saxenda.
