The “Oppenheimer” actress told the Radio Times that her decision to buzz her head had to do wanting audiences to look past the “glamour” in Hollywood.
“I purposefully chose to look like that. I wanted vanity out of the picture,” the “Oppenheimer” actress, 27, told the publication.
Pugh went on to share “Hollywood is very glamorous” and she felt it is “hard for an audience to see past that.”The actress went with a bright orange hue and slightly longer hair on the “Oppenheimer” premiere red carpet in London last week.“Whenever I’ve not needed to be glam or have a full face of makeup, I fight to keep it that way,” she continued. “It helps the audience.
