Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer is one of the year's most anticipated films. Both on its own and as a double feature with Greta Gerwig's Barbie, which hits theaters the very same day, the star-studded biographical thriller is sure to be on everyone's must-see list, especially since it looks like a film that has to be experienced in the movie theater.
How Did Jean Tatlock and J. Robert Oppenheimer Meet? Having met through mutual friends in 1936, as she was studying at Stanford and he was teaching at Berkley, Tatlock and Oppenheimer engaged in a series of "on-again, off-again affairs" that lasted several years. The famed physicist would later recall, "I began to court her, and we grew close to each other. We were at least twice close enough to marriage to think of ourselves as engaged.
