Admission to the event, described as the “only seated undercover venue in South Lanarkshire” costs £7 for adults and £3 for children. South Lanarkshire Council also has an official display taking place earlier in the evening on Guy Fawkes’ night, joining forces with neighbouring North Lanarkshire for the annual display at Strathclyde Park.
It will begin with the bonfire being lit at 5.30pm and a 30-minute fireworks display starting at 6.30pm, with free parking available at Hamilton Palace sports grounds, Low Parks museum, Keith Street, High Patrick Street and the council overflow car park behind Aldi at Palace Grounds retail park.
