The 2022 statewide general election is set for Tuesday, Nov. 8.

LA County voters will have dozens of offices and initiatives to weigh, from big-ticket races, such as those for governor and Congress, to local races for school board and city council. There are also seven state propositions on the ballot and cities across the county — from Claremont to Compton, from Duarte to Downey — will also have local measures.

There were about 5.6 million registered voters in Los Angeles County as of Sept. 9, according to the California Secretary of State’s most-recent data.VBMs, which do not require postage, must arrive no later than seven days after Nov. 8 — as long as they are postmarked by Election Day.beginning Monday, the registrar’s office said in a Thursday press release. They can also bring their ballots to a Vote Center beginning Oct. 29.
