A body was found within hours of police launching an appeal to find Sophie Johnston when she was reported missing.
Her cousin Euan Wilkie took to social media last night thanking those who helped in the search to find her, he posted: "Thank you to everyone that shared our posts looking for Sophie. Unfortunately, she was found dead this morning. We were all very lucky to have her in our family."Katie Gilbert wrote: "Very sorry to see this update on Sophie. I hadn't seen her since we were all at medical school, but her energy and sense of fun always made an impression.
