Police have recovered drugs with a street value of £168,000 from a car in Dennistoun.
Officers stopped a Mercedes C Class car on Sword Street around 9.45pm on January 12 as part of their efforts to tackle serious and organised crime.
Cannabis and cocaine were discovered within the vehicle with a 40-year-old man charged with drug offences. He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday.Detective Chief Inspector Gordon McRae, Serious and Organised Crime said: “This was a significant recovery by officers which has stopped large amounts of illicit drugs reaching the most vulnerable people in our communities.
