The running back will always have a spot in the Dallas Cowboys' record book.
The Cleveland native played college football at Southern Methodist, and was a third-round pick, 27th-overall, of the Detroit Lions in 1956. He spent that season with Detroit, then played for the Green Bay Packers from 1957-1959.
