Daddy Yankee's impact on reggaeton and Latin music in general is monumental and cannot be overstated.

De Jesús/Staff photographerThe last two weeks have seen shows from Bad Bunny, Jack Harlow, Grupo Firme and a Tuesday night smackdown featuring Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys and Michael Bublé. The next month includes stops by Camilo, Billy Joel, Wu-Tang Clan, Karol G and The Chicks. The ultimate victory lap, however, belongs to Daddy Yankee.

He arrived onstage via plane, thanks to some impressive LED screen work, to the driving beat of"Campeón." The word"LEGENDADDY" in all caps flashed across the stage. He was backed by an army of coed dancers who punctuated every moment with sharp, animated choreography. He was dressed in black and gold, eventually changing to red, then neon orange.Every song —"Problema,"Rompe,""Machucando" — was a bigger blast of energy, a more vibrant celebration.
