The Dens Park showdown has been called off after heavy rainfall in Tayside.
Chris Sutton has branded the postponement of Rangers' trip to Dundee a "total embarrassment" in a stinging blast as he also took aim at referee Don Robertson.
The Dens Park lunchtime showdown was called off by the match official after a local referee called for more time from the SPFL to work on the surface and to allow the whistler to arrive at the ground and make his own further checks after an initial inspection at 9.15am. Both sides were in position at the ground awaiting the news with Philippe Clement pictured out on the pitch alongside the ground staff.
Sutton tweeted: "A total embarrassment for the Scottish top flight having the Dundee Rangers game called off an hour and a half before kick off. Absolute shambles how it’s come to this.
