Chris Rock has announced his first comedy tour in five years. The “Ego Death” world tour will arrive at Playhouse Square for a show on June 16 at the Connor Palace.
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Rock is known for his standup, work on “Saturday Night Live” and roles in movies like “Grown Ups” and “The Longest Yard.” He also voices Marty the zebra in the “Madagascar” film franchise, starred in the comedy show “Everybody Hates Chris,” and starred in season four of the anthology series “Fargo.”
The three-time Grammy winner and four-time Emmy winner will kick off his world tour on April 2 in Atlantic City and will wrap up on Nov. 17 in Los Angeles. At his Playhouse Square show, attendees will not be able to use their phones, and must lock them away in Yondr pouches while watching Rock perform.
