Former Celtic captain Scott Brown is the bookies favourite for the vacant managerial role at St Johnstone.

Brown was sacked as Fleetwood Town boss in September after just over a year in charge and now could potentially be making a return to the dugout.

Naomi Rose, a spokesperson for Betting Sites, commented: “Should Scott Brown become the new sorcerer at St Johnstone, he’s in for a witch’s brew of challenges.
