David Watkins, 70, died in hospital after he was hit by a moped that failed to stop in Bishopsworth.
Family members have described a man from Bristol who died after being hit by a moped that failed to stop as "full of life".
"All this was taken from him, as he was taken from us way too soon, along with the memories yet to be made," added Mr Watkins' family.
