Court told one of two girls became pregnant
A male from East Belfast who admitted sexual activity with two young teenage girls - one of whom became pregnant - was placed under two years Probation today .
The defendant, who can’t be named due to his ‘juvenile’ status, admitted two counts of sexual activity involving penetration by a non-adult with a child - one committed on April 30, 2021 and the second on August 16, 2021. When the second girl was spoken to by police, she said that when she was 13 she met with him in a local park. She told officers she was reluctant to meet him on her own as she didn’t know him - and that after meeting him in August 2021 he asked her to come into the bushes with him where sexual activity occurred.
These, she revealed, highlighted issues such as an ADHA diagnosis and his low intellect as well as threats and harrassment against him in the wake of his offending.
